Huawei appears to have won a stay of execution in Costa Rica, as a result of a court decision to suspend the implementation of an earlier government order to exclude the vendor from the country’s impending 5G roll out. That roll out has been delayed in any case for unconnected reasons, chiefly involving indecision at regulator Sutel, which led to postponement of the requisite auction of 5G spectrum in the 3.5 GHz band.
