Deutsche Telekom’s arms-length wholesale division, DTGC, has moved to make global roaming more secure, by developing protective layers of comparable strength for all cellular protocols currently in use – that is 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G Non standalone (NSA) and 5G Standalone (SA). Called Magenta Security Roaming, the technology is being offered to DTGC’s (Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier’s) customers, including international MVNOs as well as enterprises and various local or regional service providers.
