Dish Network and EchoStar have finally remarried after 15 years apart, and a renewed engagement lasting well over a year, with two alternative interpretations. The positive spin naturally made by Charlie Ergen as founder and chairman of both companies was that the combined force will be perfectly placed to address the incipient market for global 5G services that combine Terrestrial and Non Terrestrial Networks (NTNs).
