Connected products platform Evrythng has announced the launch of ThngHub, a multi-protocol local cloud gateway, designed to live inside an already internet connected product to act as the bridge to the cloud for local IoT devices. Using the software, developers could turn their WiFi hubs or set tops into bridging devices, tying them into the lucrative emerging IoT services markets.
