After changing its name from On-Ramp Wireless, Ingenu has announced its ambitions to build out its LPWAN technology to cater for 30 US cities by the end of 2016. The expansion of its Machine Network strategy will see Ingenu go head to head with the privately-owned network of Sigfox, as well as the multitude of LoRa networks that will roll out in the US, and the eventual 3GPP-approved LPWAN implementation known as NB-IoT.
