The demand for cellular IoT modules fell in Q2 2023, recording its first ever shrink not counting the covid lockdowns. It is not clear if this is demand reverting back to the mean, following that strong boost post-pandemic, or if the looming 5G RedCap arrival is muting interest in the LTE-based options.
