Nokia is making a beeline for Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) and WiFi 7 as a dream ticket for broadband provision in rural areas ill served by wired alternatives, or even as a competitor to both fiber and cable in more populated areas. The company believes this combination, coupled with careful location of the CPE, can optimize the balance between RAN capacity and indoor performance.
