The Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) and the IPSO Alliance have merged to create a new mobile technologies and IoT-focused standards body – OMA SpecWorks. It’s another step forward for consolidation in the IoT standards domain, which has also seen the OCF swallow the AllSeen Alliance, but the overall pace of standards in the IoT world is still slow.
