IoT modules continue to increase in diversity and function by incorporating multiple capabilities in sensing, AI analytics, and integration of multiple wireless protocols. This reduces the component count and footprint for size-constrained IoT devices, especially for more complex use cases, or IoT deployments with diverse requirements at the higher end of the performance spectrum, in the realm of edge AI.
