The 5G era promises to liberate the long-standing potential of cellular for both production and distribution of live TV after many false starts. Lack of network bandwidth has been a constraint in both cases, while high quality video distribution has also been hampered by cost of associated mobile infrastructure upgrades and lack of capable devices.
