A rare and welcome sighting was spotted at Connected TV World Summit 2025, as panelists representing both ISPs and technology providers took to the stage, shoulder-to-shoulder, to tackle (or pitch) the broad topic of the future of content delivery architectures. From Telecom Italia (TIM), Diego Gibellino, Program Manager for Video Evolution and Multimedia Analytics, shared that the Italian ISP has already implemented multiple types of CDNs—one managed by DAZN (Edge DAZN), another deployed using Synamedia and managed by TIM, and a third based on Broadpeak’s multicast ABR, also managed by TIM.
