Software specialist VMware has announced the introduction of Liota, the Little IoT Agent that it hopes will act as the gateway software for IoT devices and data. Available on Github now, the open-source software is being pushed by VMware as a single-choice option for businesses looking to build a single application that is compatible across multiple gateways from multiple vendors.
