Apple has fallen flat with the latest revamp of its tvOS unveiled during the company’s Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2025 this week, despite what it calls a “sleek” UI overhaul. Apple TV hardware fans will also be left disappointed that rumors of a new $99 streaming device and a proprietary Apple smart TV have not come to fruition, six months down the line. The tvOS update’s flagship selling point is Liquid Glass, a unified design language previously dubbed “Solarium”, which will appear throughout the Apple ecosystem later this year.
