Swedish video delivery specialist Edgeware has published its prospectus and price range for its initial public offering (IPO), seeking to raise 150 million Swedish Krona ($16.3 million) on the Stockholm Nasdaq market. Edgeware’s IPO could also give it valuable funds to acquire a smaller content delivery player to take on its rivals – ones which spring to mind include Vbrick, Vision247, and Mirror Image. Concurrent Computer is a similar expert in unified CDNs, origin servers and edge caching, but with a market cap of $57.4 million, it could be just out of reach.
