Vodafone Spain has been left scratching its head after its supposedly exclusive partner, HBO, decided that the grass was greener standalone, following the debut of the US streaming service in Spain this week. Faultline predicts a likely outcome for HBO will be similar to Netflix’s experience in Spain – which is essentially a market of slim pickings. But on the back of these changes it turns out that Amazon Prime is on the verge of launching its Instant Video package there as well.
