In the first two parts of this mini-series on service management we identified the challenges and then looked at some of the current offerings from the vendors. It became clear that the platforms are struggling to keep up with the fast evolving requirements of operators as they hurtle towards an uncertain future that is supposed to be data driven over distributed IP infrastructures.
