One set top company’s results which are on the up are those of Amino Communications, the UK specialist which is in the process of swallowing both US counterpart Entone, and Swedish OTT specialist Booxmedia, with revenues up almost double at the half year. Revenue reached £33 million at the half year compared to £17.9 million last year, a rise of 84%, with gross profit up 58% to £14.4 million. The company said its gross margin was 43.6%, down 7% but about right for the blended margin of the three companies. Exceptional items took the company to a loss for the half year, after amortizing intangible assets of £1.1 million and exceptional costs of £3.5 million from the mergers. Even so…
