The company which owns the world’s largest collection of recorded music has instigated an about turn in both music and video publishing, embracing OTT, where in the past it has moved cautiously into new published paradigms. It produced what appeared to be a mundane “business as usual” set of results Vivendi, but demonstrated a complete acceptance of the new digital reality which surrounds music and video services.
