Comcast’s NBCUniversal has slapped an aggressive $20 a year price tag on Peacock’s ad-supported subscription tier, less than half of the usual $50 annual price, via two distinct offers. It comes as the new $20 a month Now TV streaming service is bundling in ad-supported Peacock at no extra cost, alongside over 40 live pay TV channels and 20 FAST channels. This is certainly a pre-emptive effort to lift what is generally expected to be a disappointing Q2.
