Xumo, the Comcast and Charter Communications joint streaming venture, announced prior to the StreamTV Show in Denver, Colorado, this week, that it will be powering 55 FAST (free ad-supported streaming TV) channels on smart TVs from TCL, adding the Chinese OEM to the list of manufacturers it services with FAST content and technology. That list features Google TV, as well as two Comcast products being rebranded for a launch expected later this year – XClass TV, manufactured by Hisense (soon to be Xumo TV) and Xfinity Flex, a 4K streaming device (soon to be Xumo Stream box).
