A group of Canadian broadcasters spearheaded by CBC announced at the Banff World Media Festival that they are forming an alliance to help combat climate change. Being late to the party, Faultline was quick to get in touch with the new Canadian Broadcasters for Sustainability initiative, to scratch beneath the surface of another fluffy environmental content pledge. The group unites 22 companies, ranging from national giants like Bell Media, Corus and Rogers Sports & Media, to smaller, more local organizations, such as the artist-run Nunavut Independent Television Network, which operates from a remote Inuit community.
