One of our main grumbles when it comes to covering sustainability events is that too often the talk runs in circles around the issue. Everyone (almost) knows that we are at a crisis point, and technology marketing departments will drip-feed the usual spiel about collaboration being the way forward. Meanwhile, practical examples of how technology vendors are working to curb their energy usage, while inspiring and helping their competitors to do the same, are often hard to come by.
