As publishers are working to abolish Nielsen’s measurement monopoly, preferences over proposed alternative currencies vary. The Joint Industry Committee (JIC), a group of major publishers working together to certify those currencies, has elevated ComScore, iSpot.tv, and VideoAmp as the three measurement providers to challenge the decaying hundred-year old measurement giant.
