Qatari-based MENA mass media giant Orbit Showtime Network (OSN) Group is planning to merge its video streaming platform OSN+ with UAE-headquartered audio streaming service giant Anghami, coughing up $50 million to become a majority shareholder of the music and podcast platform. The combined service—uniting music, podcasts and video onto a single platform—will bring together over 120 million Anghami registered users, more than 2.5 million OSN+ paying subscribers and over $100 million in revenue, the two claim.
