With Faultline eagerly tracking the SaaS-based product transitions of the video industry, as legacy vendors keep pace with nimbler SaaS-native start-ups, we are surprised (and suspicious) to learn that US heavyweight Harmonic is claiming that 70% of major sports content now goes through its SaaS video delivery and processing platform. “Major sports” is of course a subjective term that will vary wildly by region.
