Following the debut of new interactive features at CES 2024, music TV app Roxi has been approached by a wide range of US media owners, to expand its ATSC 3.0-based value-adds from musical roots, to news (national and local), sports, gambling, TV, shopping, and entertainment. The reaction from TV broadcast representatives eager to emulate the service has been so substantial, according to Roxi CEO Rob Lewis, that the company is planning on making its FastStream technology – the basis for its three new ATSC 3.0 music channels – available to US broadcasters nationwide, throughout 2024.
