French anti-piracy vendor Viaccess-Orca (VO) claims that collaboration with large CDN providers has supercharged its watermarking capabilities, from identification to takedown within 5 to 10 minutes, depending on how fast an illegal stream can be pinpointed. This compares with first-hand reports heard by Faultline, where a labored 45 minutes has been cited as a benchmark for an illicit stream to be identified, have the watermark extracted, and finally have the stream origin obliterated.
