Sports-focused vMVPD FuboTV has not taken Disney, WBD, and Fox’s plans for a joint sports streamer lying down. After filing a federal antitrust lawsuit against the three giants, which it dubs the “Sports Cartel,” Fubo CEO David Gandler gave a fiery earnings call pledging total war against the sports distributor’s much larger rivals. For years, Fubo has been dreaming of offering a sports skinny bundle, only to be force-fed bloaty non-sports content by programmers.
