One of the less visible sustainability stories at NAB this year lied with a series of vendors participating in a push for environmentally friendly coverage of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games, with France Télévisions eager for efficiencies—both monetary and green. As is customary with most hard-set deadlines like the Olympics, some eleventh-hour efforts were needed to make that story possible.
