A vast amount of data has been published on Super Bowl 2025, including by us last week. In the days post-event, we have gathered key metrics and compared them with other large-scale events. The production camera plan included a total of 147 cameras, of which 85 were game cameras—27 super slow-motion, 23 high-resolution, 16 robotic, 10 wireless, and two SkyCams. With such a diverse range of cameras, resolutions varied from 1080p60 SDR up to 2160p HDR at 120fps. The 1080p HDR format was chosen because it allowed for optimal 1080p60 extraction from a 2160p60/120 capture.
