The day before Faultline published our exclusive exposé on the legal battle between Telestream and Encoding.com, a press release landed from Telestream announcing that it was shifting its Sherpa Stream platform over to rival video software provider Kaltura. This is a clear sign of damage limitation for Telestream, as its private equity owners GenStar Capital and Fortress Investment Group seek to recoup cash from a business that is being taken to court over alleged unsavory practices to avoid bankruptcy.
