Content delivery and cybersecurity heavyweight Akamai registered another record quarter – generating revenue a smidge under $1.1 billion in Q4 2025. But big changes are coming (again) in the way Akamai reports results, which will make trend-spotting a little harder, particularly around the company’s CDN activities. Akamai’s 27-year-old Delivery segment pulled in revenue of $311 million in the quarter, down 2% year-over-year. Full-year Delivery revenue of $1.285 billion was down only 2.5% year-over-year, which points more to steadying trends in the CDN sector throughout 2025 rather than a marketplace where the wheels are supposedly falling off.
