Omnipresent CDN provider Akamai is on the cusp of becoming a billion-dollar-a-quarter business. But unpredictable revenue fluctuations, combined with a sustained gradual decaying of the traditional delivery segment, are putting celebrations on hold. Delivery revenue declined again in Q2 2023, falling 9% year on year, to $380 million.
