Faultline wouldn’t be complete without Alcatel announcing yet another monster order, this time for two outsourcing deals together totaling $106 million with The Telecom Group telecommunications network in Australia and New Zealand. Alcatel will take increased responsibility for the management of Telecom’s network planning, development and operations services in New Zealand and Australia. The Telecom Group includes Telecom New Zealand and AAPT in Australia. These two agreements are for outsourcing services and are additional to Alcatel’s contracts to supply equipment to Telecom and its Australian operation, AAPT.
