Alcatel has landed a contract with Iceland Telecom to upgrade its broadband access network so that it can offer full triple play services. What this means is that a more sophisticated routed DSLAM needs to be deployed, rather than a simple bridging DSLAM and Iceland Telecom will use the Alcatel 7302 Intelligent Services Access Manager (ISAM which also stands for IP DSLAM, which is what it is).
