Bitmovin has been a busy bee. The video player and encoding specialist is juggling six simultaneous RFPs, while doubling down on AI across the product portfolio, which most recently involves the spin-out of its Observability Analytics as a standalone toolkit tailormade for video. Originally part of Bitmovin Analytics, Observability has been spun out to tackle what the company believes is something of a market-wide technical blind spot. Bitmovin CEO Stefan Lederer claims that no existing analytics dashboards truly monitor video playback at a granular and actionable level.
