Charter Communications can officially pop the bittersweet champagne on the pay TV Titanic, as a slower downfall than rival Comcast has allowed the telco to become the largest pay TV operator in the US, by number of subscribers. Faultline readers will have been aware of the upcoming passing of the crown, although this is not the biggest story coming out of Charter’s latest results for the closing quarter of 2023.
