Hewlett-Packard has introduced a new Media Center PC at around $1,000 in the US, which when used with an equally new Personal Media Drive has enough storage to become a Digital Video Player. The PC also comes with a docking station for a digital camera and a slot to take Flash Memory cards straight from a camera, camcorders or MP3 player. The new Personal Media Drive though is the most important introduction, and can be plugged straight into the chassis of the PC or attached via USB as an external drive.
