Last week mobile gaming specialist In-Fusio raised $27 million led by US based venture capital firm Insight Venture Partners, with existing investors Banexi Ventures, Partech International, VPSA and Innoven Partenaires. The capital raised will be used to grow the company’s presence in the US through a series of strategic acquisitions that the company is already negotiating. Founded in 1998, In-Fusion offers downloadable games for mobile phones and claims it is the largest mobile gaming company in Europe and China with $14.4 million in revenues in 2003.
