Cloud-based video distribution vendor M2A Media caught our eye recently following a partnership with DAZN. The OTT sports platform has adopted M2A’s cloud IP transport service, M2A Connect, to ease the acquisition of live sports from its international rights partners. CEO and Co-founder of M2A Media, Marina Kalkanis, told Faultline that DAZN was desperate to change its line-up as lockdown took hold. “All the sports teams hadn’t figured out how to keep their fixtures going, so DAZN basically had an empty schedule of live content,” Kalkanis explained.
