OTT video platform building is a cutthroat business. Faultline’s recent coverage of Spanish satellite operator Hispasat—which only secured its first customer two years after launch—is a prime example. Not every business has had a timid beginning, however. On the other side of the world, 10-year-old Mangomolo is booming. Founded in Lebanon in 2014 and later incorporated in Dubai, Mangomolo builds OTT platforms for broadcasters, and focuses notably on hybrid monetization capabilities.
