Faultline’s latest panel session covered a buzzword topic we have a hefty and justifiable dose of skepticism about – the metaverse. Before tacking through the meta-fluff to delve into the bleeding-edge compression and rendering technologies powering the advancement in mixed reality (XR) technologies, we acknowledge that a crucial aspect to this sector is how it will be monetized.
