Streaming specialist Brightcove has poached North American motorcycle road race series MotoAmerica from ViewLift (CMS, analytics, personalization) and Harmonic (encoding, cloud processing). Brightcove will power live, VoD and a host of other capabilities for the MotoAmerica Live+ streaming service, which comes just as the racing outfit is set to globally distribute the 82nd edition of the Daytona 200 live on the platform this week. Ahead of the iconic Floridian motorcycle race, MotoAmerica had previously announced a rebrand of its streaming platform, without evoking any change in its tech stack.
