Two sets of results from leaders in AVoD have dropped this week, both harbouring sizable net losses. Like many of their contemporaries, AVoD and FAST conglomerate Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment (CSSE) and mid-tier unscripted streamer CuriosityStream are struggling to turn a profit, caught in a catch 22 between cheap content and low ad commitments.
