At the request of Telenor Sweden, Danish software vendor Nordija has just finalized an integration with UK-based dynamic ad insertion platform, Yospace. This allows broadcasters to lead server-side ad insertion (SSAI) according to audience data collected by Nordija’s middleware. As OTT ad revenues are squeezed on both sides by the pandemic and a host of new players, broadcasters and operators seem to be pushing for ad tech advancements to plug the gap. This integration improves audience targeting while reducing workload for the operator, two moves which could help to reduce the impact of the global standstill.
