While covering the last few sets of financial results from Ateme, the French video compression and delivery company, Faultline has highlighted a profitability problem. Well, Ateme has taken note, and a 2025 blitz of the organization’s sales and marketing resources has returned a full-year 2025 net profit of €1 million ($1.16 million) – a marked improvement on 2024’s net loss of -€5.4 million (-$6.25 million). This was almost enough to distract from disappointing full-year revenue, which rose just 2.2% to €95.6 million ($110.7 million) – basically flat once we account for 2025’s global inflation rate of 4%.
