We are running out of fingers and toes to count all the new entrants in the smart TV operating system space. This week’s newest member is Indian titan Reliance Industries, owned by billionaire Mukesh Ambani. Reliance, whose media division Viacom18 has just merged with Disney’s Star India, runs a popular OTT service called JioCinema, which features, among many other programs, free streams of the Indian Premier League national cricket championship.
