Sky Switzerland rolled out its Saturday Multiviewing Experience in August 2025, but only now have we learned that the operator’s multiview video capability is not based on in-house R&D, like at most other Sky operations. Instead, EasyTools—a Paris-based video software developer—has been selected to power Sky Switzerland’s weekly five-screen Multiview screening for sports fans. EasyTools is best known for its video monitoring services for use by pay TV operators, yet the vendor has shown shapeshifting capabilities by transforming its integrated multiviewer—used for quality monitoring—into a consumer-facing multiview experience.
