Global streaming quality is on the up and is leading to longer watch times, according to Conviva, which has provided insightful metrics on bitrates, buffering times and picture quality for the third quarter of this year. The vendor’s State of Streaming report is consistently one of the better vendor publications on such topics, although there are a few grating inconsistencies once we get into drilldowns by region or device type.
