As with every other merger that creates a monster, a large, unwieldy, overpowering bully of a company, the friendly merger under which Comcast will buy Time Warner Cable is being sold on the same grounds which should be cited to actually deny it. This week Comcast listed the reasons why it believes the deal is in everybody’s interest in its Public Interest Statement and they are net neutrality, TV service pricing, content diversity, broadband pricing and customer service.
